AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State football program revealed its throwback uniforms that it will wear for the Jack Trice Legacy Game, presented by Nationwide, on Saturday, October 7 when it plays host to TCU at the stadium that bears his name.

Jack Trice, Iowa State's first Black athlete, penned an open letter to himself in 1923.

Although his life was tragically short, Trice’s words of determination - “I will” - continue to live on at Iowa State in Jack Trice Stadium.
